Job Title: Tribe Release Engineer

Role Description:
As a Tribe Release Engineer, you will be responsible for the operational management of tribe releases and changes with transversal APS impact. You will manage risks and dependencies, ensuring effective coordination among all involved parties. Your role will involve improving the release process and industrializing it with Subject-Matter Experts from various squads. You will work on a well-defined process and plan for efficient release management tasks, including patching and version upgrades for Linux & Windows Hosting Platforms. Balancing infrastructure, security constraints, and business needs, you will rely on DevOps automated practices. You will interact with stakeholders, contribute to improvements in the tribe testing process, and represent the tribe in various forums.
General Responsibilities:
- Manage the release calendar in line with business strategy and existing application architecture.
- Collaborate with different squads and Release Engineers from other tribes.
- Consolidate tribe release planning and safeguard dependencies.
- Monitor progress, signal deviations, and negotiate alternate solutions.
- Integrate delivery progress to manage risks proactively.
- Prepare decisions for delivery bottlenecks and collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
- Ensure regular communication with stakeholders.
- Execute software configuration management professionally.
- Compose and coordinate deployment runbooks.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus.
- Sound knowledge of release and configuration management.
- Experience in telecom changes is a plus.
- Active communication skills and solution-oriented mindset.
