Role Description:

Join the Service Now squad as a Dev Engineer, focusing on incidents, maintenance, and run tasks. The team operates in an agile environment, with 50% homeworking flexibility. Responsibilities include supporting and guiding the team through various processes, monitoring instances, and executing maintenance tasks such as small changes, lifecycle management, and license management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management: Handle second/third line incident management, including analysis, alignment, small changes, communication, and follow-up.
  • Problem Management, Asset Management, Change Management.
  • Release Management: Prepare and follow-up releases, including runbook preparation and validation, and presentation in the Change Advisory Board.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Data Analysis: Create reports and manage dashboards.
  • Implement processes in Service Now, design feeding interfaces, and set up API integration.
  • Analyze and configure email interfaces and design workflows in Service Now.
  • Migrate existing tools to Service Now.

Language Requirements:

  • Dutch: Plus point
  • French: Plus point
  • English: Mandatory

Technical Skills:

  • Service Now Certified (Admin Course)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist or related certification (nice to have)
  • Cloud knowledge (nice to have)
  • Experience with Service Now instance health checks, performance monitoring, and system upgrades.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong team spirit and autonomous approach
  • Pro-active attitude and clear communication
  • Cross-functional collaboration with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical issues into business terms
  • Project Management knowledge
  • Ability to identify and address issues proactively

  • Capable of working in a complex and large structure
