Senior Business Analyst Position

As a Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Business and IT, contributing to the development of the future system. Your role will be central to advancing technological initiatives and achieving ambitious goals aimed at transforming the landscape. The mission is to deliver future infrastructure and innovate services for a reliable and sustainable system, prioritizing community interests.

This involves optimizing asset use, enhancing system visibility and understanding, developing stability methods and tools, automating complex tasks, and implementing new market designs with strong signals, all while undergoing a digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Support the business in developing new product designs and evolving existing products.
• Define business expectations and model information and operational processes for IT tool design and evolution.
• Model business data for development and evolution, and support the development of an enterprise data warehouse.
• Analyze and describe solution requirements based on business needs.
• Validate functional analysis from IT to ensure solutions meet specifications.
• Prepare test cases and validate implementations at the end of each sprint.
• Coordinate application implementation across different fields within cross-functional projects.
• Support business in specifying and running software validation tests (UAT) and coordinate integration tests.
• Train and assist the business in optimal tool usage.

Requirements:

• Minimum of six years of relevant experience or in a similar role.
• Excellent command of Dutch and/or French, and a good command of English.
• Degree in civil engineering, commercial engineering, a master's degree in science, or an equivalent degree.
• In-depth knowledge of business process modelling and data modelling (business information modelling).
• Proficient in writing and validating functional specifications.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
• Initial professional experience in the field.
• Strong project management skills.
• Highly customer-focused, flexible, and critically minded.
