Mission Context:

The role involves working within the Operational Permanent Control (OPC) team, which is responsible for identifying and assessing operational risks and executing controls. The team is undergoing a Transformation Program to enhance its technological ecosystem, including Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and robotics. The Data Analyst will collaborate with various departments to implement these solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Upgrade the current data setup, including data sourcing, modeling, and analysis methods.
• Develop Data Analytics methods to meet current and future needs of OPC control and risk teams.
• Deliver high-quality data sets and analytics outputs.
• Contribute to the strategic vision of data management at OPC.
• Address business problems requiring data and support risk analysis.
• Define data requirements and collaborate with data providers.
• Perform data exploration, extraction, and setup data sets.
• Conduct data crunching and treatment for BI purposes.
• Utilize diverse data analytical methodologies, including statistical/machine learning and forecasting.
• Create data visualizations.

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in Dutch or French
• Fluent in English

Education:

Master’s degree in data analysis, data science, or a business degree with proven experience in data analytics. Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply.

Certifications:

• SQL, Python

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site & 50% homeworking

Required Experience/Knowledge:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of interaction with Oracle DBs.
• Experience in predictive modeling (machine learning) for forecasting.
• Familiarity with development tools & libraries: Conda, GitLab, Jupyter, PyCharm.
• Data visualization skills (Tableau mandatory, Power BI is a possibility).
• Knowledge of AB Initio and SAS universe is a plus.

Business Experience:

• Proven data management background.
• Management consulting experience.
• Knowledge of digital culture and ability to work within the digital ecosystem.
• Previous experience in similar roles is a strong plus.
