IT Project Manager Position
Start Date: Immediate
End Date: 6 months with potential extension
Location: Belgium
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and control of the investment portfolio throughout the portfolio cycle.
- Drive delivery of program deliverables and manage interdependencies to obtain benefits not available from managing projects individually.
- Manage the successful delivery of projects as defined by the Final Project Objectives (FPO’s) within the agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
- Conduct tactical day-to-day project planning, execution, and manage project data based on guidance from the Core Team.
- Direct project team members and manage their activities to meet project objectives.
- Resolve resource constraints and conflicts affecting multiple projects within the program.
- Align organizational and strategic direction affecting project and program goals and objectives.
- Resolve issues and manage changes within a standard governance structure; escalate risk management to handle issues/risks at the program level.
- Monitor the progress of program components to ensure overall goals, schedule, budget, and benefits of the program are achieved.
- Provide transparency to different levels within the organization through PMx status dashboards at the program level.
- Conduct weekly health checks to ensure the project/programs are PMx compliant.
- Ensure adherence to established processes (SDLC, PMx, etc.) while executing the project.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in overseeing investment portfolios and program deliverables.
- Experience with Jira or related project management tools.
- Chemistry project experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve resource constraints and conflicts.
- Excellent communication skills for providing transparency and reporting to different organizational levels.

- Experience in managing projects within a structured governance framework.
- Ability to align project goals with organizational strategic direction.
- Proficiency in risk management and change management processes.
Language Proficiency:
Proficient in English; additional language skills are a plus.
