The Portfolio Structuring team acts as a center of expertise, supporting strategic investment initiatives, structuring long-term energy contracts, and engaging with key stakeholders on market design evolutions.

As part of the Market Design team, focusing on the Capacity Remuneration Mechanism (CRM), you will manage CRM projects, support preparations for the 2025-2026 delivery period, coordinate prequalification for CRM auctions, and evaluate regulatory changes. You will ensure that our CRM strategy aligns with the evolving energy market.

Key Responsibilities

As a CRM Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the preparation for the 2025-2026 CRM delivery period:
  • Developing strategies for announcing unavailability and scheduled maintenance within the CRM framework.
  • Defining methodologies for availability monitoring and testing.
  • Overseeing IT and short-term optimization implementations to ensure alignment with CRM requirements.
  • Reviewing and updating back-office procedures, and drafting relevant work instructions.
• Assisting in the prequalification process for CRM auctions (Y-1, Y-2, and Y-4) in 2025:
  • Analyzing the prequalification process for energy-constrained assets, including batteries and wind assets.
  • Preparing and submitting prequalification files and handling necessary documentation.
  • Managing requests for financial securities and ensuring all requirements are met.
• Managing CRM-related projects and activities within and outside the department:
  • Overseeing CRM-related initiatives and ensuring smooth coordination across teams and departments.
• Assessing the impact of regulatory changes and CRM contracts:
  • Analyzing changes to CRM regulations and contracts with the TSO, identifying potential impacts on operations.
  • Collaborating with relevant teams within and beyond the Optimisation department to ensure proper implementation of these changes at both contractual and operational levels.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the energy sector.
• Strong interest in electricity markets, gas markets, support mechanisms, etc.
• Knowledge of the Capacity Remuneration Mechanism (CRM) is a valuable asset.
• Experience in project management and coordination of complex projects involving multiple people and diverse actions.
• Fluency in at least two languages, either French/English or Dutch/English.
