Senior Project Manager Position

Role Description:

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join the program and project management department. The successful candidate will manage one or more projects within an infrastructure environment, focusing on developing APIs for various projects. The role requires ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget, and involves interaction with internal teams and departments. Both project management skills and a technical background are essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare project plans for assigned projects.
• Ensure project delivery according to schedule, budget, scope, and quality.
• Ensure governance and prepare steering committee meetings with relevant stakeholders.
• Define project timelines and milestones.
• Manage risks and issues related to project delivery.
• Clarify high-level scope and technical synergies between different sub-projects.
• Ensure compliance with standards and best practices across all projects.
• Manage a team of internal staff and/or external contractors.
• Proactively propose technical solutions and innovations.
• Report progress, issues, and risks to the customer and program manager or relevant stakeholders.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Promote project management activities through positive and constructive networks.
• Develop active and consistent communication with different stakeholders.
• Manage conflicts (technical and non-technical).
• Facilitate operational functionality of project groups and other stakeholders.
• Define roles and responsibilities of project teams and stakeholders.
• Continuously follow up on change and deliverables-related feedback from the customer.
• Engage in people management, team coaching, and training.

Technical Profile Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in Project Management in the IT sector, particularly in application development.
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and development environments.
• Agile mindset.
• Certified in PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent by experience.
