Job Title: Image Pattern Recognition Software Developer

Project Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension

Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Regime: Full Time

Location: Flexibility to work both from office premises and remotely from home

Responsibilities:

• Understand user needs and project scope in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Conduct a pragmatic and cost-effective review of various software tools, platforms, and open-source options necessary for developing the required software solution.
• Develop a robust software solution for production use in a manufacturing plant, starting from scratch.
• Create automated tests to verify the functionality of the software solution.
• Develop an easy-to-use User Interface.
• Provide training to end-users on the final software solution.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• A well-rounded and experienced software developer with a proven track record in developing image pattern recognition (machine learning) applications.
• Competence in using lower-cost or open-source tools (e.g., Anaconda).
• Ability to handle different roles in a small software project, including software development, UX development, and test development.
• Appreciation for new challenges, attention to detail, and a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English is required due to the international character of the work environment.
