Solution IT Architect

Context:
It concerns the assignment content of the Solution IT Architect position within the IT Service Center Food Production.
Assignment:
The Food Production roadmap focuses, among other things, on setting up their production sites and implementing a new ERP and MES system within these sites and optimizing the organization (business processes, roles,...).
The project teams work closely together within and across the tracks to achieve the objective in mutual consistency. As a Solution IT Architect you will be part of 1 or more project teams and collaborate on the further development and optimization of the Food Production application landscape.

Your responsibilities:
- Designing IT solutions that meet our partner's functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ensuring support for the IT solution with the client, the project team and the support/run team.
- Identify IT risks and facilitate decisions to be made by our client when evaluating alternative solutions.
- Contributing to the evolution of the reference architecture with the needs of the business and with the general evolutions in the IT field, if they can be beneficial to the business.
- Ensuring that the own solution architecture is in line with the enterprise architecture.
- Monitoring that the realization of solutions is in line with the solution architecture.
- Documenting architecture decisions in artifacts according to expected standards.
- Contributing to architecture governance by participating in necessary governance processes and/or by participating in existing governance boards.
