Mission Context:
The mission of the Portfolio Management, as part of the Transformation Office, is to enable the Executive Committee to actively steer the transformation in line with strategic ambitions in a continuous, holistic, balanced, and transparent manner. The Portfolio Management team monitors the realization of strategic objectives and the implementation of regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Regulatory Portfolio:
- Lead and steer regulatory project reporting.
- Drive the regulatory dependency check process.
- Set up and manage the reporting process within the bank.
- Create a community for regular check-ins between Regulatory Owners and the Portfolio Management Team.
- Participate in Regulatory Boards as necessary.
- Define and set up processes with Regulatory Watch teams to identify the scope of regulatory projects.
- Gather and challenge data from Regulatory/Initiative/Opus owners quarterly.
- Consolidate input and create quarterly presentations for the Executive Board.
Business/Function Portfolio:
- Support and facilitate Segment or Function Management Teams with main Constructs.
- Assist in defining Strategic Axis objectives and managing the prioritization process.
- Ensure the Strategic Axis roadmap is up to date.
- Monitor progress, demand and supply balance, and detect dependencies and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with CIO Office and Finance to review the Strategic axis roadmap.
- Build and maintain portfolio tooling; strong Excel skills are necessary.
Language Requirements:
- Dutch: Proficient in speaking or solid understanding when French is proficient.
- French: Proficient in speaking or solid understanding when Dutch is proficient.
- English: Fluent.
Education:
Master’s Degree in Law, Management, Economics, or related fields.
Certifications:
Agile & project management certification is preferred.
Experience/Knowledge:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Past experience in PMO and management of large programs.
- Full autonomy in PowerPoint and strong Excel skills.
- Broad knowledge of the banking/financial services sector.
- Experience with regulation/regulatory projects.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work at Executive Committee N-1 and senior management level.
- Strong communicator, diplomatic, and customer-oriented.
- Ability to work collaboratively and in co-creation.
- Structured approach and goal-oriented.
