Senior Network Engineer – Cisco ASAv Specialist

Description
As a Network Engineer, you play a key role in analyzing and mitigating vulnerabilities within the existing Cisco ASAv environment. You work closely with internal IT teams and ensure a safe, stable and well-documented network environment.

Tasks and responsibilities
Analyze the current Cisco ASAv setup for vulnerabilities and recommend improvement actions.
Split the AnyConnect VPN from the admin portal, so that the management interface is only accessible internally.
Strengthen the authentication processes by SAML integration with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
Prepare and perform necessary patches and firmware updates.
Replacement of self-signed certificates with reliable, validated certificates.
Drawing up clear and current documentation and architecture overviews.

Profile
Minimum 5 years of experience as a network engineer in complex environments.
Thorough knowledge of Cisco ASAv, VPN configuration and network security.
Experience with SAML authentication and Entra ID (Azure AD).
Trusted with certificate management and patch management.
Strong analytical skills and hands-on mentality.
Experience with documenting IT architecture and processes.
