Junior Network NOC Engineer

Location: Brussels

Start Date: As soon as possible

Duration: Initial duration of 1 year (renewable)

Work Regime: Full-time in the office for the first three months, followed by a hybrid model of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote, subject to work requirements.

Role Description:

• Operate within a team supporting 24/7 company activities.
• Work in both IT and OT environments, ensuring diligence in preparing and executing changes.
• Participate in the deployment and maintenance of OT and IT systems.
• Engage in day-to-day operations and support colleagues in Belgium and other parts of Europe.
• Analyze and resolve incidents and technical problems.

General Skills:

• Proficiency in Dutch or French and fluency in English.
• Ability to collaborate with other ICT teams.
• Strong team player with the capability to work independently.
• Possession of a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to various Belgian locations if required.

Technical Skills:

• Operational knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto and Checkpoint).
• Basic understanding of routing and switching (CCNA level).
• Familiarity with Cisco CLI.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with backend tools for monitoring, NAC, central syslog, and authentication.
• Any OT experience is a plus.
• A background in computer science is advantageous.
• Previous relevant work experience is required.
