Job description:
As part of a modernisation project, we are looking for an expert Solution Engineer with more than 10 years of experience. The focus is on independently converting a high-level solution architecture into an implementation architecture and actually implementing it. You will work with experienced and motivated team members and can count on the support of an enterprise architect.
Responsibilities:
Designing, developing, managing and dismantling IT solutions within the team.
Contributing to the delivery of quality products to customers.
Collaborating with engineers, analysts and business stakeholders.
Guiding the team in the design and development of secure and robust solutions.
Participating in all sprint events and continuously developing your own expertise.
Required qualifications and experience:
Degree in computer science from a recognised European college or university.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience with the design/definition and development of APIs and microservices.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience with Java SE, including 5 years with Java SE10+.
At least 5 years of experience with software design (cloud, API, microservice, event) and event-driven architecture.
At least 5 years of experience with cloud development, preferably Azure Cloud.
At least 3 years of experience with integration of PaaS offerings and NoSQL databases.
At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably within Azure DevOps.
At least 1 year of experience with Java framework Quarkus.
Experience working within agile delivery teams.
Knowledge of Event Driven and/or Behavioural Driven Development, Domain Driven Design is an added value.
Ability to propose alternative solutions and formulate recommendations.
Language requirements:
Good knowledge of English and Dutch or French is required.
Office presence:
Be present at the office at least 3 days a week to promote team spirit and the launch of initiatives.
