For a client, we are seeking several Solution Analysts for a temporary staffing project with the following specializations:
Solution Analyst "New Phygital Product"
- Experience with Dutch insurance products
- Proficient in Guidewire and front-end technologies
- Experienced functional analyst capable of creating flows (Customer Journey, etc.) and UML diagrams
- Familiar with Agile methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with both Business and IT teams
- Fluent in three languages (no mainframe knowledge required)
Solution Analyst "Technical Improvements"
- Expertise in delivery processes, including application management
- Experience with release management and implementation of initiatives
- Proficient in Agile methodologies
- Skilled in IT processes, with the ability to understand and improve current processes
- Experience in coaching Product Owners, Business, and IT analysts
- Experience with packages and front-end applications
- Proficient in English and one of the national languages (no mainframe knowledge required)
Solution Analyst "PMO"
- Expertise in governance, monitoring, reporting, and proposing IT improvements
- Experience with KPIs
- Proficient in Agile methodologies
- Proficient in English and one of the national languages (no mainframe knowledge required)
Location: Brussel
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Until 31/12/2025, with possible extension.
Profile: Solution Analyst Non-Life & Claims
Purpose of the Role:
The Solution Analyst (SA) analyzes and translates functional and non-functional requirements into a functional/technical design, considering the existing architecture, projects, technical possibilities, and limitations. The SA also implements and maintains specific applications/configurations and provides end-user support within their scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements
- Review and critically evaluate high-level business requirements
- Prioritize and validate requirements for the Minimal Viable Product
- Define, weigh, and check project scope
- Translate high-level requirements into user stories
- Ensure detailed requirements are understood functionally
- Conduct impact analysis and propose solution alternatives
- Functional Analysis
- Gather relevant functional and technical information
- Perform functional analysis with business representatives
- Organize review cycles and document outcomes
- Ensure quality of functional phase and propose subsystem improvements
- Technical Design
- Conduct technical analysis to meet functional requirements
- Ensure development of a manageable system integrated into existing IT systems
- Organize review cycles and adjust system parameters/configurations
- Compliance with Standards
- Adhere to company standards and ensure uniform application development
- Project Follow-up
- Provide workload estimates for analysis, testing, and project phases
- Support project management and planning
- Participate in testing phases and act as a key project actor
Language Requirements:
- Dutch/French: Native with good knowledge of the other language
- English: Good knowledge
Must Have:
- Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar functional and technical role
- Extensive knowledge of Non-Life/Claims products (minimum 3 years)
- Experience in Mainframe/CICS environments
- Good transversal insurance knowledge
- Experience with Enterprise Architect & Jira
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Analytical, proactive, and agile mindset
- Experience with SCRUM
Nice to Have:
- Experience with commercial front applications
- Guidewire knowledge (PolicyCenter, Billing Center, Product, Portals, Batches, Integration)
