We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst for a client in Brussels.

Job description:
As part of a programme to take over part of the application landscape, we are looking to strengthen our internal teams. The programme consists of the operational management of around 30 different business applications.
Activities include:

Hand Over/Take Over: Documentation, application maintenance, development of new features.
Reengineering: Complete rewriting of applications to bring them into line with current standards.
Required languages:
French or Dutch: expert level
English: expert level
Essential functional skills:
Business needs analysis: Ability to gather, understand and challenge user needs.
Drafting of functional deliverables: Production of clear and rigorous functional documents.
Process modelling: Proficiency in UML, BPMN, etc.
Functional testing and validation: Definition of test cases and validation of developments.
Product backlog management: Prioritisation of requirements and scope management.
Related technical skills:
Reading and understanding code/SQL.
Knowledge of application architectures.
Proficiency in collaborative tools (Confluence, JIRA).
Soft skills:
Ability to communicate with a variety of people.
Critical thinking and ability to challenge requests.
Functional leadership and user focus.
Expected experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience on significant projects.
Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Participation in redesign/migration/reengineering projects is a plus.
Bonuses/additional assets:
Knowledge of mock-up tools (Balsamiq, Figma, Axure).
Familiarity with ITIL, TOGAF or PRINCE2 standards.
Contract:
The contract is confirmed until 31/12/2025, with the possibility of renewal for periods of 3 or 6 months.
