Medior System Exploitation Engineer

Description:
As a System Exploitation Engineer, you will alternate deployment coordination with two peers, establish a service-oriented delivery framework, and ultimately lead service delivery interactions with our internal customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment Coordination:
- Create the Global Implementation Plan for major application releases and infrastructure changes.
- Organize the coordination and execution of all required deployment activities.
- Allocate resources to meet deployment schedules.
- Lead deployment of minor and major application/infrastructure releases.
- Oversee environment refresh preparations and executions.
- Ensure that non-functional requirements are properly addressed and managed.
- Act as the Point of Contact for the assessment and management of impacts and risks brought by projects on operational activities, specifically for third-party applications.
- Recommend and implement process and efficiency enhancements, particularly on operational activities.
- Report on “work in progress” status.
- Document events or raise alerts if needed.
- Stay current with IT standards and innovations; share insights with the team.
Service Delivery Foundations:
- Define guidelines and principles for a service-oriented IT team.
- Develop and standardize IT service offerings.
- Secure stakeholder buy-in on the service delivery framework.
- Establish core processes, tools, and reporting to support service delivery.
- Cultivate a service-first culture and mentor fellow Service Delivery Managers.
Service Delivery Operations:
- Monitor and coordinate day-to-day service delivery to meet customer needs and contractual requirements (SLAs).
- Ensure the maintenance (evolutive, preventive, corrective) of service delivered.
- Serve as the primary customer liaison for requests, concerns, and feedback.
- Ensure SLAs are achieved in quality, timeliness, and cost.
- Drive resolution of incidents and problems in collaboration with technical teams.
- Manage change requests, assess their impact, and coordinate their implementation.
- Analyze service performance (metrics), identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.
- When required, lead a dedicated service delivery team.
Skills (must-have):
- Proven experience in Release Management (3 years).
- Proven experience in Service Delivery Management (3 years).
- Proven experience with people management (cross-team).
- Proven experience with the ITIL methodology.
- ITIL certification.
- Fluent in French and Dutch, good level in English.
- Proven experience with agile methodology.
