IT Developer - Expert

Role Description:

We are looking for an expert Java Developer with a strong analytical mindset to join our dynamic development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing functional analysis and handling document generation and distribution for both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and advice on client or back-end side best practices.
• Analyze and develop document generation.
• Collaborate with the Application Lead Developer and Application Consultant/Integrator to handle project feedback and new component candidates.
• Write analysis and user guides.
• Provide support and advice on all topics related to document generation.
• Actively participate in the testing phase.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch knowledge is a plus.
• French knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Education:

Master's degree, preferably in IT.

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site and 50% homeworking.

Required Experience/Knowledge:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience as a Java engineer in an agile environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge and experience with Java/Spring application, OO, REST, SOA, Selenium, etc.
• Experience with cloud environments.
• Understanding of Continuous Delivery principles.
• Understanding of Operating Systems (Unix, Windows, etc.) and Middleware software.

Business Experience:

• Experience with Scrum.
• Ability to discuss features and stories with stakeholders and product owners and translate these into software with real business value.
